Over 250 migrant gang members officially landed in El Salvador from the United States, where they were sent to a mega-prison.
The first delivery of the gang members came despite a federal judge’s ruling against the Trump Administration.
According to The New York Post, 238 members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua prison gang and at least 21 MS-13 members were delivered.
Upon arrival, the gang members were met by dozens of armed soldiers and immediately transferred to the Terrorism Confinement Centre (CECOT).
The planes arrived hours after a US District Court Judge attempted to block the Trump Administration, citing the 18th-century Alien Enemies Act.
According to Axios, two planes were already in the air when the order came down, but they decided not to follow the ruling as the planes were “outside US airspace.”
