Special Report: Sierra Nevada Gold has commenced drill targeting at its Warrior gold project in Nevada, USA, commencing a gravity survey to improve the company’s understanding of key structural features.

The project exhibits the hallmarks of a large mineral system, which to date has been largely underexplored, presenting an enormous opportunity for Sierra Nevada Gold (ASX:SNX) .
First-pass drilling programs focused on testing the historic Warrior mine and the associated Warrior mine trend, an extensive and highly anomalous zone that extends more than 2km and is open to both the northwest and southeast.
SNX previously reported drilling at Warrior which returned grades up to 14.40g/t gold (WARRC019) and 10.15g/t gold (WARC015) and broad intersections such as 20.73m at 2.13g/t gold (WARC022).
SNX completed a geochemical and a spectral survey at the project, identifying five high- priority targets and confirming multiple epithermal systems.
And now a 500-station gravity survey is underway with the aim of improving understanding
of the major structural features in order to refine these potential drill targets.
The company’s upcoming field exploration program for Q2 2025 will focus on geological mapping and geochemical and spectral sampling.
This will in turn allow for refined and improved drill targeting, which is planned for Q3 2025.
“While our recent exploration has focused on Blackhawk, we continue to progress work at Warrior, which we believe has potential to host a large epithermal system, and our geological activities completed last year have further confirmed this,” SNX executive chairman Peter Moore said.
“We’re set to commence a gravity survey at Warrior to provide more context and understanding of the mineralisation potential and will use results to define the best targets for drilling later in 2025.”
Meanwhile work continues at the company’s Blackhawk project, also in Nevada, where rock chips from the Two Shovels prospect recently returned highs of 3460g/t silver and 4.52% copper, and the Endowment South prospect showed tops of 587g/t Ag and 3.76% Cu coincident with IP anomalies from the historical Endowment mine.
SNX is also planning future drilling at Blackhawk.
